Some churches are growing and asking what's next. Some are plateaued and can't quite name why. Some are grieving a pastor's departure, a decline, or a hard season. Wherever you are, you're changing, and change is the best time to stop, listen, and seek God's direction together.
Who it's for
- Growing churches that want to stay on mission as they grow, and make sure structures, staff, and ministries keep up with where God is leading.
- Plateaued or struggling churches that need honest outside eyes, renewed hope, and a clear next step.
- Churches in leadership transition that are between pastors, between worship leaders, or rethinking a role before they hire.
How it works
Brad walks with your leaders through the renewal process he's certified in through the SC Baptist Convention:
1. Exploration. We listen to your story, build trust, and name your hopes and concerns.
2. Examination. We look at your church through four windows: who you are, who your neighbors are, who your partners could be, and how your community is changing.
3. Recommendation. Together we discern your best options for making disciples.
4. Presentation and Affirmation. Leaders and members take ownership of the path forward.
5. Implementation. We help turn decisions into priorities, timelines, and action.
We come as guides. Your church owns every decision.
Why Roots
Brad Price is a certified Interim Shepherd and a certified Renewal Practitioner through the South Carolina Baptist Convention. He brings more than 25 years of church leadership, serving as an executive pastor leading staff, structure, and strategy, and in worship and music ministry, where recruiting, training, and managing volunteers is central to the job. He knows how churches actually run and what it takes to align people around a shared vision. Roots' discipleship counseling background also helps him build trust with a congregation, especially during a hard transition.
Start with a conversation
Even the first steps of this process help any church get clear on vision, mission, and alignment. It's worth doing every few years.
